Porsche AG

Porsche AG is a German manufacturer of premium vehicles and sports cars based in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The company has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 2009.

In the AIMFREE research project, Porsche is contributing important requirements from its own assembly of the first fully electric sports car produced by Porsche. This is based on the use of flow production with driverless transport systems and enables new degrees of freedom for flexible and versatile vehicle production. More specifically, Porsche is contributing a test environment for the investigation of simulated dynamic planning and control processes in order to optimize the effects on the production processes in the assembly line.
