BÄR Automation GmbH

BÄR Automation GmbH, based in Gemmingen, is a specialist for customer-specific automation and assembly systems. The company enables the integration of future-oriented application areas in robotics and mechatronics.

BÄR’s contribution to the research project provides relevant support in the development of transport and autonomous driving. Thanks to significant experience in the development of driverless transport systems as well as control and management software, BÄR is able to contribute in particular its expertise in flexible and changeable production logistics. In the context of the research project, for example, a personal protection concept for autonomous vehicles based on series sensor technology and a radio-based personal protection concept for vehicles without suitable sensor technology are developed in cooperation with BÄR.
